

The Lawyers:

Garnet received his Bachelor of Arts with Honours in 1995 and his Bachelor of Laws in 1998 both from the University of Saskatchewan. He articled with his father, Michael Fisher at Fisher Law Office and was admitted to the bar in 1999. He is a member of the Collaborative Lawyers of Saskatchewan Inc.

Garnet has an easy going manner and is a calm practical negotiator. His areas of expertise include Real Estate Law, Estate Law, Family Law, Collaborative Family Law and Corporate Law.

Garnet's interests include hockey, golf, Roughrider football, reading and spending quality time with his family. He has been an active member in his community including the Kinsmen, Regional Park Golf Board, coaching hockey and baseball and serving on the board of the Melville Baptist Church.​​

Alisa Fisher articled at a firm in Whitehorse, Yukon. She was called to the bar in both the Yukon and Saskatchewan in 2026. She started her Juris Doctor at the Université de Moncton and finished it at the University of Saskatchewan in 2024. ​

Alisa has a background in Litigation, Family Law, Corporate Law and Criminal Law matters. She is ready to assist clients in English, French, and Serbian. ​​
Articling Student

Ethan Fisher is currently articling at Fisher Law Office. He holds three degrees from the University of Saskatchewan: a BComm in finance and global business, JD, and MBA, as well as a certificate in global studies. He had extensive involvement in leadership activities during university, serving as the National Coordinator for Students for Liberty Canada and campus president for the Christian Legal Fellowship, among other roles. ​​
​
Ethan is from Melville and has helped with the family firm since he was a high school student, working as a receptionist and assistant, before becoming a summer legal student, and now an articling student. He also has experience working for national think tanks and advocacy organizations as a writer, board member, researcher, and administrator.
​
His areas of interest are Administrative Law, Information and Privacy Law, Wills and Estates, Corporate Law, and Civil Litigation.

Ethan enjoys reading, playing strategy games, hanging out with friends and family, and most of all, spending time with his wife, Alisa. ​

Mike was admitted to the bar in Saskatchewan in 1971. He was appointed Queen's Counsel in 2004. Mike is a past President of the Law Society of Saskatchewan. He previously did Federal Prosecutions for the Department of Justice.

​Mike was an active member in his community having served as mayor and counselor for the City of Melville for a number of years. He has been a member on many boards.
​
Sadly, Mike passed away in May of 2023.
He was the Vice Chair of The Painted Hand Community Development Corporation, a hearing officer for the Residential Tenancies and the chair of his church vestry up until his death.
